Job Description

Our client, a leading D2C subscription company, is looking for a Sr. Manager of Paid Search to join their team. 

Reporting to the Director of Growth, the Senior Manager of SEM will be responsible for the development and management of performance marketing campaigns on SEM channels like Google and Bing, using data to unlock insights and new strategies to achieve measurable business results. How you'll contribute to success:

  • Create and manage campaigns across SEM tactics and assist in management of YouTube campaigns.

  • Oversee PPC day-to-day optimization and budget management across multiple campaigns and platforms, to achieve new customer business targets and meet efficiency goals

  • Define strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, messaging, and other facets of paid search in order to capture incremental new customer demand

  • Identify testing opportunities, developing test structures and measurement frameworks, seeing through tests from ideation to completion.

  • Optimize measurement strategies with data team, developing reports and scorecards for key performance metrics, and interpret performance metrics to derive actionable insights

  • Craft new customer acquisition journeys through paid media and corresponding site experience, to improve conversion and media effectiveness

  • Management and optimization of product feed in GMC for shopping campaigns

  • Build strong relationships with vendor and agency partners

  • Keep updated on industry and competitive trends and regularly informing the team of noteworthy news items and opportunities


What we're looking for:

  • 2-3+ years experience in paid search  management

  • Hands-on experience with PPC channels, YouTube a plus

  • Experience overseeing +$10M in annual paid media budgets

  • Experience managing and optimizing feeds for shopping campaigns.

  • Deep understanding of different campaign types and the nuances of different search tactics

  • Understand dynamics across channels [paid, owned, earned], and be able to clearly identify trends 

  • Track record of analyzing funnels and conversion rates, and making data-driven decisions

  • Experience leveraging marketing automation tools

  • A scrappy self-starter willing to roll up your sleeves and drive projects to completion

  • Have a strong work ethic, love of testing, and commitment to continuous improvement

  • Effective communicator with internal teams or external vendors

  • Highly analytical. Have the ability to analyze and translate data into actionable plans.

  • Proficient in Excel and comfortability working with large data sets

  • Knowledge of Shopify is a plus
