Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Manager, Digital Marketing, the Sr. Digital Marketing Specialist plays a key role in the Marketing and Communications department by supporting our clients email strategy, social media, paid search, paid media, and other digital channels. They will work closely with other members of Marketing, Creative Services, Communications, Digital Strategy, IT, and other departments to build, integrate, and measure campaigns in support of the strategic objectives. They will regularly analyze, report, and suggest continuous improvements for these digital channels.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Leads the coordination of email communications across the organization and responsible for the successful execution include logging requests, approving timing, requesting list pull from ITS, building templates, ensuring copy & layout are approved editing, proofreading, and scheduling.
• Works closely with the Manager, Digital Marketing, Creative and Communications teams in developing and maintaining a system to coordinate the cadence of emails to audiences to ensure we are optimizing engagement and improving metric performance.
• Works with the Manager, Digital Marketing, to develop, manage, and implement the social media strategy. This includes understanding and utilizing the latest in social media technology, researching new trends, analyzing, and reporting on strategy effectiveness and coordinating with the Creative and Communications teams to build the social media copy calendar.
• Works with the Manager, Digital Marketing, to develop, manage, and implement paid search and/or paid media.
• Builds and manages campaigns on various paid ad platforms such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, Amazon, Meta, LinkedIn, Snap Chat, TikTok, etc. that align with SOA strategic goals.
• Maintains campaign changes such as key features, budget, duration, keywords, supporting copy, supporting links, supporting graphics, etc.
• Participates and plays lead role in weekly Production meetings providing traffic coordination and support.
• Assists the Manager, Digital Marketing in the development and management of Marcom department goals. This includes conducting check-in meetings, providing performance updates, due dates, and communicating key changes/updates to the team.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three (5) years’ experience in marketing.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including some familiarity with AP Style.
• Proficient in project management software and shared file platform.
• Proficient at Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Experience working with advanced email marketing platforms; marketing automation platforms (preferred).
• Experience working with the most popular social media platforms and social media management platforms.
