Job Description
Our client, a media agency, is looking for a Paid Search Specialist to join the Boston team.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Global Head of Search, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Paid Search team as a Paid Search Specialist. As a Paid Search Specialist you will help execute high-level account campaign strategies into optimizations which directly affect campaign performance and team success. You will regularly analyze and interpret data, discover and address opportunities, collaborate on campaign strategy with clients and the SEM team, formulate and test hypothesis as well as give critical insights on campaign activity and performance. At least two years of experience working in a similar role as a Search Account Specialist or Marketing Analyst on biddable media campaigns is required.
Proficiency in working with all Google & Bing Ads products, Google Analytics 4, as well as working knowledge of Excel & Google Sheets as it relates to SEM is preferred. Candidates with experience working on biddable media campaigns will be considered. Previous SEO and Content Marketing experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
• Interprets all analytical data as requested by senior team
• Serves as a “boots on the ground” contributor to the management team giving important insights assisting in developing strategy, reports and projections.
• Assists in the training process for new hires and helps to support their development at FM.
• First point of contact for any account assistance requested by the team.
• Participates in regular check-in meetings with the Global Head of Search to review internal monthly and quarterly account data insights reporting.
• Assists in execution of any projects or tasks outside of those required of their normal account responsibilities.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience working in a similar SEM, Biddable Media or Marketing Analyst role.
• An interest and passion in analysing your campaigns and pushing for the best outcome.
• Awareness of media trends and avid interest in business and finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suite, specifically Excel.
• Certifications in digital marketing, such as Google Ads or Bing.
Personal Attributes:
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Eagerness to work alongside a range of people and as an integral part of a team.
• Demonstrable ability to make sensible, intelligent decisions in difficult and deadline driven situations.
