Our client is in the photo and video equipment industry. 
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Junior Administrative Officer / Junior Chief of Staff. This role will report directly to the CEO and will serve as a crucial support function to the executive team. The ideal candidate is a recent MBA graduate with a background in business, finance, or marketing, who possesses a strong analytical mindset, a passion for technology, and a desire to drive growth and innovation within our organization. This position will play a pivotal role in supporting our senior leadership and ensuring the efficient operation of the organization. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the strategic goals of the company. 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning and Research: Assist in the development and execution of the company‚Äôs strategic plans, conducting in-depth research, and providing analysis to support strategic decision-making. Identify emerging trends and opportunities within the industry and competitive landscape. 
  • Business Development: Collaborate with the executive team to identify and evaluate potential business expansion opportunities, partnerships, and investments.
  • Project Management: Play a key role in managing and overseeing critical projects and initiatives, tracking project milestones, budgets, and performance metrics. Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment with project goals. 
  • Technology Savvy: Stay updated on emerging technologies and their potential impact on the photography industry. Recommend tech solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Data Analytics: Analyze financial data, sales figures, and performance metrics to track the company's progress towards its goals. Develop reports and dashboards for executive review.
  • Travel Planning and Administrative Support: Occasionally handle travel arrangements for the CEO, ensuring a seamless and efficient itinerary. Assist in preparation of executive reports, presentations, and correspondence. 
  • Advisor and Assistant: Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing insights and recommendations based on research and analysis. Act as a liaison between the CEO and various departments within the organization.
  • Special Projects and Initiatives: Undertake special assignments and projects as directed by senior leadership, providing comprehensives project management, analysis and reporting. Drive the execution of these initiatives, ensuring they align with company goals and objectives. 
  • Growth-Oriented: Continuously seek opportunities for company to expand its market presence and revenue streams.
  • MBA degree with a focus on business, finance, or marketing. 
  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills with a quantitative mindset.
  • Excellent research and data analysis capabilities.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in using data analysis tools and software.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a go-getter attitude.
  • Curious and eager to learn about new developments in the photography industry.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Consulting background from a reputable firm is a plus.
  • Education from a reputable brick-and-mortar school is a plus.
