Job Description
We’re looking for a Head of Web to own the primary company website — the engine that drives the majority of revenue. This is a high-impact role at the center of growth strategy. You’ll lead the vision, strategy, and execution for the digital experience — from acquisition through checkout — with a relentless focus on conversion optimization.
As Head of Web, you’ll define the vision, strategy, and execution for digital experience, ensuring seamless customer journeys that scale experimentation and personalization, and set the industry standard for performance and innovation. You will provide ownership of website strategy, technology, operations, and the improvement roadmap—spanning and partnering with teams across analytics, content management, personalization, SEO/LLM optimization, experimentation, and martech integration.

Responsibilities:

Set Vision & Direction: Define and champion an enterprise-wide strategy for the company website, positioning it as a best-in-class digital destination that advances brand reputation and revenue growth. Serve as SME to help unify Brand, UX, Creative, CRO, Lifecycle, Product, Content, and IT in delivering customer-first experiences.

Lead the Digital End-to-End Customer Journey: Own web strategy by identifying and prioritizing customer needs, curating high-impact digital experiences, driving performance measurement, and setting a clear vision for growth—from account management and personalized experiences through e-commerce discovery to seamless cart and checkout.

Multidisciplinary Leader: Lead multidisciplinary teams while partnering closely with senior leaders to deliver seamless, scalable, and customer-first experiences that fuel business growth while unlocking greater efficiency and collaboration across internal teams.

Executive Leadership & Partnership: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of digital content managers, analysts, and product managers, while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

Data-Driven Excellence: Oversee advanced analytics and reporting (Google Analytics and GTM) to define success metrics, measure impact, and guide executive-level decision making.

Governance & Scale: Establish robust frameworks for CMS (Contentful) and Design System governance, tag management, and martech/personalization integrations that enable efficiency, compliance, and scalability across the enterprise.

Growth Acceleration: Drive growth through personalized subscriptions and cross-sell product bundles that deepen customer value and loyalty. Architect, own, and optimize e-commerce and subscription funnels to maximize acquisition, conversion, retention, and customer lifetime value.

Experimentation & Personalization at Scale: Help drive an enterprise-wide culture of testing and personalization, leveraging cutting-edge platforms to continuously improve engagement, revenue, and loyalty.

Digital Visibility Leadership: Lead the organization’s SEO strategy and pioneer Large Language Model (LLM) optimization to future-proof digital discoverability.

Cross-Functional Alignment & Advocacy: Partner with product management, marketing, engineering, and executive leadership to ensure the website serves as a strategic growth lever. Act as the voice of the customer at the executive level, influencing priorities, resource allocation, and long-term digital strategy.
Qualifications:

12+ years managing enterprise websites, digital platforms, or e-commerce ecosystems, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Proven track record of leading high-performing teams across product, analytics, data, design, and digital disciplines.

Demonstrated success in driving measurable outcomes in customer acquisition, conversion, retention, and satisfaction through web strategies.

Deep expertise in web analytics, tag management, CMS platforms (Contentful), A/B testing, personalization, SEO, and emerging LLM optimization.

Experience integrating martech stacks including CRM (Salesforce), ESP, CDP, and personalization tools into enterprise web ecosystems.

Executive leadership presence with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functional priorities.

Data-driven decision-maker with a strong analytical mindset and a history of delivering business growth through digital transformation.
